Injectivity and Wells

With any CCS project it needs to be ascertained that the reservoir has sufficient injectivity. The pressure differences between the transported CO₂ and the reservoir requires to be such that an injection at the desired rate can be achieved.

Available Services

Flow Modelling

Our laboratory can perform all required core flow tests, tests and PVT tests to provide the required data for the injectivity potential – in combination with the thin section analysis and rock compositional analysis to estimate the initial injectivity of the well and assess plugging potential.
Well Designs

With our petroleum technology expertise in carbon capture storage (CCS), PanTerra has the experience in defining well-functional specifications and completion designs. In addition PanTerra can perform the near wellbore modelling and review the in-well bore modelling.
